The Gronk is Coming – Brace Yourselves!!!
GRONK: Australian Slang (noun): A person that is totally lacking in fashion sense, motor skills,and/or social skills. Usually a total moron, an extremely unpleasant person or an unwanted guest.
Australia’s own Weird Kid Club (formerly Kayo Toy Co.) is unleashing its first-ever edition of The Gronk—an all-new vinyl creature that, according to one fan, looks like “Krang, King Kong, and a Madball had an unholy threesome.” So, yeah... it’s a lot, in the best way. Each Gronk is hand-painted on shiny silver vinyl and stamped with a unique, hand-stenciled serial number on its back—because each Gronk is one of a kind. With only 15 pieces available, this release comes bagged with a hand-signed, numbered header. But wait—there’s more! Gronk’s weapon of choice, the Super Space Mace, is packaged separately with its own mini header, because what’s a Gronk without its trusty mace for mayhem? Every purchase comes with a 10cm x 10cm Weird Kid Club vinyl sticker and, just for this first release, an ultra-limited A6 Risograph print of X-Ray Gronk. Just because. Catch The Gronk when he crashes into the Weird Kid Club webstore, weirdkid.club, on November 22 at 12pm AEST. He’ll set you back $120 AUD ($80 USD, ¥12000) plus shipping.
