"Tuttle the Pumpkin Bat" vinyl art figure from artist Ashley Hay!
I met artist Ashley Hay MANY moons ago, when I first started my website, I think it was at SDCC or something and was in need of some buttons... I dunno, really, it's been far too long, but she just sent word that she has put up for pre-sale her very first vinyl designer toy - introducing 'Tuttle the Pumpkin Bat'! The figure is named after world-renowned Chiropteralogist, Merlin Tuttle. He's the guy that helped protect the bats under Congress Bridge in Austin, TX, as well as the colonies in Bracken Cave. The pumpkin's face is based on early German paper mache lanterns while the bat has American Traditional tattoo stylings... so very cute/cool, and no matter what time of the year it is, there is always a place for bats and pumpkins! Standing 6.5" tall by 6" wide, this vinyl figure is limited to 100 pieces and comes with custom packaging. Snag one up HERE right now via pre-order for $100 (estimated shipping date will be mid-September 2023).
