I went to the Toy Art Gallery's website and made a purchase of a beautiful toy to take advantage of this sale. The website advertised the toy, took my money for it, sent me a confirmation of my purchase, and then a day or two later, an employee e-mailed me to say they don't have the toy and can't get one from their distributor to send me. This was my first attempt at purchasing something from Toy Art Gallery, and it will almost certainly be my last attempt.
That's really unfortunate as TAG has been nothing but good (in my opinion) to the designer toy community. It sounds like they had a misstock in their store and when they went to fill your order, saw that it wasn't there so they reached out to the artist/producer to see if they had anymore and it was a no. If that was the case, I'd give them another chance... they are good people and make great stuff.
