NOMINATIONS are now OPEN for the 8th annual Designer Toy Awards!!!

The folks behind the Designer Toy Awards aka the DTA's are excited to announce their 8th year of this super exciting awards ceremony! Running from NOW until March 12th, 2018 - the Designer Toy Awards will be accepting open nominations in a variety of categories from both professionals and fans alike, and having learned from the previous seven years of the DTAs, they've continued to refine and restructure the nomination, voting, and finalist procedure to help ensure quality winners while still garnering input from the entire community. Head on over HERE now, register, and get those nominations in... then, let the voting begin. Hopefully the designer toy community will stand behind SpankyStokes.com once again for the best blog so that we can take home that rad award... we appreciate you :-) Now... here are some guidelines as well as the categories for this year (all details about each category can be found HERE)

All artist or company based awards require that the individual or brand was active within the eligibility period (January 1st to December 31st of last year). Unless specified otherwise, all specific release based awards require that — within the same eligibility period — the platform in question was either initially released, had a significantly modified version released (such as with a new head), or had new paint scheme applied to it (such as a Dunny or Android). Unless specified otherwise, the term designer toy indicates a release that credit the artist and actively marketed the piece as the artist's creation.
