While "Ringer" most obviously indicates the T-shirt style depicted on Amanda Visell and Michelle Valigura's new busts, meaning ones in which the jersey shirt fabric is one color but the ribbing used for the collar and the sleeve bands are of a contrasting color, the term is also slang for someone that you barely know who is invited to a party to make things interesting. And boy, do these women make the party interesting! "Save Myself" is wearing a tee depicting a girl dressed as knight on horseback next to the phrase 'I Can Save Myself', implying she doesn't need a man, while "Iron Giant" has the titular robotic hero from that film decorated as the Statue of Liberty, 'You Are Who You Choose To Be' emblazoned next to it. An original hand-sculpted design from the artist duo, these have been hand-cast in resin and hand-painted by Visell as well. Standing roughly 6½-inches tall, these are available right now in the myswitcheroo online shop for $145 apiece, limited to 15 pieces in each version.
