I wasn't sure what to think when I heard that Kidrobot was releasing a Dunny designed by Johnny Draco. It wasn't the fact that he was part of their in-house design team that bothered me, but rather that his design would be emblazoned upon Jason Freeny's "Half Ray Dunny" sculpt. That just seemed odd to me, as the quarter-cut anatomical exposure rendition of the Dunny was so uniquely Freeny's aesthetic. But then I saw Draco's "Mr. Watt" and I can't imagine another way it could've been made. A wonderfully witty representation of cartoonish doom, I couldn't wait to really delve into the history of the artist and this design, which resulting in a review of the work that can be read HERE or watched in video form below…
