Jeanne from Belladonna of Sadness as a Cold Cast Resin Sculpture!

A cult classic piece of Japanese animation, 1973's Kanashimi no Belladonna (aka Belladonna of Sadness or La Sorciere) oozes with erotic, violent, and psychedelic imagery. And by special arrangement with Mushi Productions, designer toy producer Unbox Industries have been able to issue a beautiful cold cast resin interpretation of the film's protagonist, the peasant-turned-witch Jeanne. Sculpted by Satoshi Kondo of Cosmo Liquid, this almost 12-inch (30cm) tall statue was released in its recognizable black iteration a couple of weeks ago (see HERE) with the above-pictured red version being a prototype of a forthcoming edition exclusively for Tomenosuke.
