The fortune frog, or money frog, is a mythical three-legged amphibian typically depicted with a variety of either gold coins or Chinese cash around it: one grasped in its mouth, a pile of them under its feet, and a string of them placed somewhere around the beast. Meant to symbolize how this creature provides its owner good fortune in attracting wealth and protection from misfortune, these currently are mainly seen in statue form due to their prominent role in feng shui.
