Okay, everyone, gather around nice and close as we're about to share a secret. Pictured above (one the lefthand side) is a sculpture that
Task One has been slowly constructing "on and off for a year now", according to
his Instagram post, though he also notes that he "still [has] far to go" with it. Well, that certainly looks like
Alex Pardee's "Breathing Architecture" design (pictured above right), which debuted at the artist's 2011
VERTIGO: A Decade of Hunting Nightmares exhibition as an original acrylic on wood painting, resurfacing in 2014 in a print edition of 30 copies (as well as a blue/green colored variant edition of the same number). We posted about the start of this project
HERE, with really nothing to go off... and now, Task does further note that he hasn't "shown the artist who designed it yet", theoretically meaning the sculpt's form hasn't been approved, but he does note that he'd "Love to make a small batch when it's done", as long, of course, "as the master approves"! Fingers crossed that he does, as this is already looking awesome even in this still slightly roughly form.
