Indonesian street artist
Handra Halim, under the alias of
Hanh, creates light-hearted interpretations of serious topics, ones that prompt contemplation without bearing down overly heavily on the viewer. An example of one such parody work is "Ice-Cream Thrower", modeled after
Banksy's iconic "
Flower Bomber" design, but giving it the consumerist twist of becoming a McDonald's marketing tool!
Available in two versions, the full-color "Regular Edition" and the monotone "Black & White Edition", both limited to 20 pieces that come signed with their own Certificate of Authenticity (COA), these painted resin sculptures stand roughly 17¾-inches (45cm) tall with a width of 14⅙-inches (36cm) and a depth of 7⅛-inches (18cm). Available to purchase on September 19th, 2017 at 9am Pacific time in the
heART Editions online store, either version of this design will set you back $600 (+ $70 global shipping).
