"Bedtime Bunnie" creator
Peter Kato has partnered with Josh "
Dethchops" Kimberg, co-owner of
Clutter Magazine, to create a new rendition of his sleep-walking bunny. Formed complete with resin innards, akin to
Scott Wilkowski's technique, the internal element isn't a skeletal system but rather a double-faced beast, one side depicting the "Night Owl" and the other the fabled "Mothman", which are cast in opaque pink and gray with yellow resin glow-in-the-dark eyes. And the debut version of this design is limited to only 28 pieces, exclusive to
PIQ, who will pre-release 5 copies at their 2017
New York Comic Con booth #745 on Saturday, October 7th. The remaining 23 pink/gray "Night Owl / Mothman Bunnies" will be available to pre-order at NYCC, any leftovers being listed on
PIQgifts.com starting October 10th. And, to make things a bit more interesting, it seems like there are two versions: ones with the "Night Owl" side facing forward (pictured below) and others with the "Mothman" side taking the front (pictured above)!
