Naomi Knaff's Sea Creature-esque "La Maudite"!

Canadian artist Naomi Knaff's newest creature creation is the sea monster-esque "La Maudite", or French for "The Cursed". Standing 6-inches tall, these handcast resin pieces come from an original sculpt that shows intricate detail work, especially impressive being the uniform feel of the feathering, the manner in which the cloud formation becomes its hair, and the manner in which a multitude of eyes protrude naturally from its body. Debuting in an total of five unique pieces, each hand-painted using Monster Kolors by the artist, three of them will be available on Sunday, September 10th, 2017 at 3pm Pacific time in Knaff’s online shop for $70 apiece with the remaining two being available from Martian Toys' NYCC booth in October.
