Haroshi's "King Gorilla Ju" Wood & Vinyl Hybrid!

Japanese artist Haroshi is known for layering abandoned skateboard decks in blocks, carving wonderful sculptures out of this strange composite material. But for his forthcoming Rise Above solo exhibition at the StolenSpace Gallery in the UK, he's merging his signature aesthetic with vintage vinyl figures, creating hybrids of mass-produced plastic monsters with handmade wood aspects.
