This past Saturday we were onsite for Woot Bear's
Wootron, their Voltron tribute show! We briefly
streamed the going-ons live on our Facebook page but we also took a few photos for those who couldn't watch live!
There was a great crowd turn out! Lots of interest in all the pieces, especially the tiny Wootron pieces - looked like bags of candy with all the bright colors and the headers. Everytime people went to the front counter there were little Wootrons flying around and being pawed through!
It was great to see all the different artist interpretations of Voltron. The pieces bring back that 80s vibe - bright primary colors, transforming machines, giant cats, all defending us! Perhaps the most surprising piece was the GrumpyTron by
Zeb Goodell, quirky, and CAT based!!! The sculpt was really precise too; so good. Under each GrumpyTron is a hidden message - you would have seen either "nope", "go away", or "no!". See, quirky! Special thank you to Woot Bear for another great night, and pick up any remaining pieces
here!
