Something is amiss in
Restore's
Neo Japan universe, as the above-picted "
Neo Japan Darkness" sees the heroic character twisted into an evil rendition of himself! This roughly 7-inch tall soft vinyl piece's edition come with some special accessories, also cast in
sofubi, namely the
chōchin (lantern) and
jitte (non-bladed weapon). And, of course, it is adorned with the traditional
o-fuda (paper talisman) elements that have become the trademark of the figure! Debuting at this weekend's
CurioCon, this design won't be the only one from
Restore present…
Also at the Los Angeles-based convention will be the "
Modern Meat" (above left) and "
CollectLister Club Master" (above right) editions. Both of these roughly 8-inch tall soft vinyl figures feature silk screened cloth elements by the artist, the new "
Iron Meat" rendition having hand-sewn t-shirts with the
Restore logo displayed in a unique color on each one. Available at
CurioCon from
Refreshment Toy &
PopSoda's Booth #309, these figures will range in price from $110 to $140 apiece.
