It feels like forever since Ryan Rutherford, also known as
Brutherford, has graced us with his magnificent work, but he's pulled the old rotocaster out of retirement for the upcoming
Five Points Festival in New York. But what could this super fun looking project be? It's a collaboration with
Gary Ham! Ham drew the original "Logan the Tree Stump Kid", then Brutherford digitally sculpted it in ZBrush, 3D printing the result to create a mold from. But the best part is that the creative duo will be hollow resin casting (aka rotocasting) these pieces live at their Five Points Festival booth 131! The blue and the orange versions will each be available on different days of the convention, and the white rendition will be available both days as well as online for non-attendees. Priced at $35 each for color versions and $30 apiece white, those wanting one of these 3½-inch tall works best get one while you can, as the molds will be destroyed after the event!
