In what might be the best April Fool's prank ever or the mother of all toy-related leaks, the already defunct website kawsdundiddis.com — which apparently only 'existed' for 41 minutes this morning — posted the above picture. Obviously based on the classic Snoopy Sno Cone Machine which was released by Hasbro in 1979, though using the improvements of Cra-Z-Art's 2012 version, this rendition features the iconic XX eyes of Brooklyn-based artist Brian Donnelly, better known as
KAWS, as well as features his "Joe Kaws" t-shirt wearing Snoopy figure atop. As this comes hot on the heels of our
previous announcement that KAWS was partnering with A Bathing Ape (BAPE) founder Nigo's UT line from
Uniqlo to produce an officially licensed, forthcoming PEANUTS capsule collection, this reeks of plausibility! Is this a surprise addition to the line that will be released on April 28th, 2017? Or is it a prototype that might've been produced but has been scrapped for various reasons? Unfortunately, we'll just have to wait and see.
Please Note: Happy April Fool's Day! The above post is a joke and in no way reflects — to the best of our knowledge — anything that is actually occurring.
