Back in November of 2016, we posted up the
Kickstarter project
HERE of
Vincent Scala's "
Mickey Monster" vinyl figure crowd funding campaign... and it was funded. That being said, over the next few months, it made its way from concept to proto, to mold to cast to finished product... and we are excited to announce that this rad looking figure is packaged up and on it's way from the factory this week... soon to be in collectors hands! "Mickey Monster" was concepted as a 6-inch tall vinyl figure, with a few back-n-forths with the factory, the final figure stands 6.5" tall and comes packaged in a window box.
Articulated at the arms and the head, the design features a small Minnie Mouse rendition, being held King Kong-style! During the campaign, the Pink version was reached as a stretch goal as well as the blackout version... and although we are not sure if those will be available publicly, that OG version will soon hit the market. What will the retail price be? If you were the lucky ones who backed the project, these were only $20 a pop... no word on if that cost will carry over, but we will update you all when we know more! So excited to see this... and that packaging is great!
