UGLY DOLL teams up with STX Entertainment & Robert Rodriguez for feature film deal!!!

Back in 2015, we posted up an announcement HERE stating that David Horvath (Ugly Dolls) and STX Entertainment had teamed up to hopefully release an Ugly Dolls feature film... and now, 2 years later STX announced at CinemaCon today that Robert Rodriguez will be directing this animated adaptation! Yes... director of Sin City, El Mariachi, Desperado, Machete and From Dusk Till Dawn will be taking this on... pretty rad! Above is the initial teaser poster for the film! It looks as though we will be seeing Wage, Babo, Ice-Bat and Wedgehead, and the rest of the "Uglyverse" in a featured length movie... and who knows, maybe even a tv series! It's exciting to see something in our little scene make it so big! Congrats to David and Sun-Min Kim!
