There's a monthly serialized story in
Hobby Japan, "WWR: The Shitty 9", telling a tale from
Ashley Wood's World War Robot wherein, following the catastrophic failure that was the Dirty Deeds program, the Dirty Deeds engineering team regrouped and determined that going forward the only way to proceed was to revisit the concept of a covert strike force. But instead of relying on just one model of robot to cover all operational tasks, they would create a diverse robot team where many models would work together in concert to achieve one objective; and this covert team is known simply as Dread Deed. And one of these covert robots, an Armstrong, has now resurfaced as a member of the strike group known as The Shitty Nine! Produced by
threeA exclusively for
Good Smile Company, this is the sixth release in "The Shitty 9" series: "Dread Deed Armstrong 1G"! This figure is 1/12th scale, or roughly 7⅔-inches tall, and it is fully articulated for various poses. Plus, the two bags attached to his front are made from actual fabric!
