We have been hearing rumors about the release of a special
Andy Warhol project from
Kidrobot, and until now, it's just been speculation... revealed for the first time at New York Toy Fair 2017, the "
Invisible Sculpture" diorama... an odd collectible, but for you Warhol fans, this is a must. This miniature diorama is based on an installation that Warhol did in 1985... he created the "Invisible Sculpture" via performance art at New York's Area Nightclub. Now, Kidrobot is recreating that with the above pictured sculpture diorama. The inspired box closes securely and includes a handle, and the minimal styling matches the powerful aesthetic of the original "Invisible Sculpture". This stands approximately 9" tall, will be limited to an edition of 500 pieces and will retail for around $250 with a release date set for Spring of 2017! Thanks for the great picture,
Jeremy Cone!
