John Kenn Mortensen × Unbox Industries’s Newest Monster Prototype!

Flanked by various versions of their "Three Witches" and "Three Vampires" figures, Unbox Industries reveals the prototype for their newest collaborative piece with John Kenn Mortensen! Mortensen's artwork, like a Germanic fairy tale illustrated by Edward Gorey or Where the Wild Things Are written by H.P. Lovecraft, is a beautiful mix of mature themes, nostalgic naivity, and dark (but not necessarily scary) aesthetics. This new piece, which appears to most closely resemble the head from his illustration below, is of an undisclosed monstrosity… We're told that this will be released around the Summer of this year, but anyone want to take a stab in the dark and guess what this beast is before then?
