Holy crap, how did we miss this! Three weeks ago, the eastern Poland-born artist Seb Whatshisname made a new black colored version of his squatting (and pooping) balloon dog statue "POPek" available. Inspired by Jeff Koons's massive stainless-steel "Balloon Dog" works, the glossy finish on these 4¾-inch tall resin versions mimic the reflective, metallic look of Koons's work perfectly while maintaining Whatshisname's own aesthetic… Limited to an edition of 100 pieces worldwide in the pictured black version, those interested in obtaining one can find them now in Whatshisname's online shop for £110 (approx. $137) apiece.
