Do you remember the stunning "
Last Days of Autumn" sculpture? If not, watch my video review for it
HERE. Now that we're all caught up, the
Amanda Visell conceived and
coarse executed work is returning, this time in the pictured "Chop Chop" colorway! Modeled after the original first hand-painted colorway of the design that Visell did, using a vibrantly colored Log, no signs of winter overtaking his bark or pulp… Which, I think, makes the children all the more disturbing, the lack of frozen elements denoting less need on their part to chop the Log up for firewood. This final edition of the sculptural set made its debut at the duo's recent
open studio event, the remaining copies of this 150 piece limited edition release will be available to the public on Thursday, December 8th, 2016 at 7:59am Pacific time in
coarse's online shop for $384 per set.
