Introducing the "Sumoggubōru," or "Smog Ball," designed by Softoy Hobby's
Tru:Tek after one of his favorite toys —
Bemon's "Kougai," that artist's vision of a Hedorah-esque smog monster horror. Sculpted by Rich "
UME Toys" Page and produced in vinyl by
Tru:Tek, this Madball-like design features one truly impressive aspect: a unique 360° rotatable mouth! But that's not the only noteworthy detail on this 6-eyed beast, whose sculpt contains many tiny details, including power stations, waste pipesm and even a micro Ooze-It! Roughly 4-inches round, these will debut at this year's DesignerCon in two versions: unpainted flesh-colored, limited to 10 pieces, and the handpainted "Gara-colorway," limited to 5 pieces. Costing $65 and $110 apiece respectively, these will be sold first come, first serve from DCon Booth #933.
