AVAILABLE NOW: The "Ape Hangers" Resin Figures from Towooz's Noel Roh!

Noel Roh, a member of the nine-person Korean artist collective Towooz, finally is making her "Ape Hangers" resin figures available internationally, after we saw their debut release at Taipei Toy Festival. Originally designed as part of the collective's "The Wizard of TowoOZ" mixed media project, the "Ape Hangers" evolved her roughly 6-inch tall "Bucket Rocket & Tricycle" resin figures into stylistic interpretations of the flying monkeys from Wizard of Oz, only with tricycles to ride instead of wings to soar. Made in two versions, each limited to 8 pieces, there is the brightly attired "Theodore," with his yellow sweater and red helmet, as well as the stark black dressed "Owen." Both are available now from the Fifty Fifty Store for ₩180,000 (approx. $159) apiece.
