Seulgie's "Devil Rory" in Halloween editions for myplasticheart's NYCC Booth!

It's funny how little changes can completely change something… Seulgie's "Satyr" release was easily one of my favorite new resin designer toy pieces last year, but this new iteration — "Devil Rory" — lacks the same magic. In removing the sculpted hairdo and replacing it with baby doll wisps, the balance of the figure seems thrown off to me… and the simple maturity of the face, previously strictly expertly painted eyes giving a minimal yet complex look, has given way to greater numbers of lines cluttering the area. I do find the Halloween-themed versions of these 4½-inch tall pieces to be great choices, the classic "Red Devil Rory" and "Black Kitty Devil Rory," both of which feature custom designed cloth accessories. Available at myplasticheart's NYCC Booth #113, these will be $160 & $180 apiece respectively.
