Ron English's "COMBRAT ARTion Figure" from ToyQube for NYCC!

Hot on the heels of the previously revealed "COMBRAT" from Pobber Toys, we can a much more realistic, 1/6th scale (12-inch tall) version of the design from ToyQube! Created by Ron English, the COMBRATS are a reoccurring troupe of characters in his art, typically depicted as doe-eyed clowns that have taken on a militaristic attitude. While this version lacks some of the adorable aesthetics of the Pobber version, it seems to integrate the clown and soldier ideologies seamlessly — especially in such details as the guitar-shaped gun, a superior iteration of the concept we've seen in the "Falla Sheep" blind boxes from English. Referred to as an "ARTion Figure," these are $135 apiece and each comes with a print while supplies last. Making their debut at ToyQube's NYCC Booth #121, some stock will be reserved for online customers.
