Inspired by the nightmarish creatures that haunt the Japanese folktale landscape, their wild animal stance upon elongated though human-looking arms and legs reminding one of modernizations like the creatures of Resident Evil or Silent Hill. Titled "Sushiro Yokai," these original creations from Emilio Subirá depict a body made from a tightly wrapped sushi role with insect colored limbs, a purple and green irrediscence imbued within them. Limited to 9 signed and numbered pieces, these roughly 4⅓-inch tall polyurethane resin works are available now in Subirá's online shop for a mere $90 apiece!
