What's happening with Dennis Cornetta's "Pumpkin Pals" figures?!?

We fell in love with Dennis Cornetta's "Pumpkin Pals" series when we spotted them first at Stranger Factory's Bewitching V and then at Stranger Factory's Five Year Anniversary show. But things have been quiet for the 4- to 6-inch tall resin releases. That is, of course, until we spotted the above-pictured unpainted "Pumpkin Pals: Pirate" in Wendy "Feathered Fox" Williford's upcoming projects work pile. It's of course conceivable that she acquired a blank copy from Cornetta because she, like us, loved the design… but with Halloween coming quick, I have to wonder if Cornetta isn't planning something special with his pumpkin headed critters.
