That Moon Fox from OK Luna

OK Luna is a duo, O for Olun and K for Kaiser, and is the brand name for the Hong Kong vulpine creation JOBI the Moon Fox. I am overwhelmingly obsessed with it, especially after seeing its potential unlocked by Shoko's delightful paintjob. That, folks, is a one-off that is certainly not for sale. I know. I've already asked.

Other than its almost homonymous name , JOBI bears no resemblance to to Sergey Safonov's critter; JOBI, with its floppy ears and rounded shoulders, has a decidedly mopey/taciturn disposition. Anyone looking to pick one up has to hit Wrong Gallery in Taiwan (facebook event page). Simply called O(origin), the first drop is of the Galaxy colourway amd limited to 15 pieces.

I had the good fortune to speak a little to Kaiser so to give you folks a little more background info: graphic designer by trade, he was approached by Devil Toys to produce the Boxing Cats, and that was his first foray into the world of sofubi. I am absolutely ashamed to say that even though the kitties were showcased at STGCC last year, I was not in the know. So, as penance, I drudged through its archive and found photographic evidence of my 2015 incompetence. :P

Comparing the two, JOBI is definitely more suited to the role of being a platform toy and just by looking at the illustrations, I cannot wait till the kitsune version drops!
