Prepare to be "Blown Away" again as Josh Mayhem tackles Coarse!

Josh Mayhem contrived something special with his "Blown Away" series, designer toy creations that augment the base figure — whatever it may be — with resin to give the illusion of being wind-swept. Yes, colorful strands emerge from the vinyl base, each segment being gloriously colorful. And now Mayhem has tackled one of the most praised designer toy sculptures in recent memory: Coarse's "paw!" figure. Originally commissioned by a private collector, the image of the base form balancing on a single hand looks even more impressive as streams of rainbow resin emit from it. Too brilliant to remain so limited, Mayhem has opened his commission list to create a very limited number of "Blown Away Paw" works, with an estimated Quarter 1, 2017 delivery.
