Transforming
Kidrobot's iconic Dunny form into something that looks like an ancient artifact from the future, artist
John Eugene Atendido Avila (or JeAA) reveals his "RoBoX Dunny study1" modified and hand-painted piece for the
previously announced NYCC DTA Dunny Show, which will be on display at Clutter Magazine's
New York Comic Con Booth #603. The muted palette conveys a feel similar to classic Mesoamerican sculptures, while the overall profile — itself reminiscent of Doctor Who's Cybermen foes — has that inherently futuristic robot aesthetic to it. Coming with a display mound to create a diorama element, this piece is housed in a wonderfully weathered box… A true work of art all around!
