COMING SOON: Ron English's "COMBRAT" from Pobber Toys!

A reoccuring troupe of characters in the art of Ron English, the COMBRATS are typically doe-eyed clowns that have taken on a militaristic attitude. And, as pictured-above, you can see that the "COMBRAT" concept is making the leap in designer toys courtesy of Pobber Toys. The prototype shown, photographed by Andy Heng, looks striking in its army man green coloration, though those clownish arrire elements still pop off of the form. I'm actually slightly hoping that an unpainted version like that shown will be offered, as I fear all the colorful costuming of a clown will actually detract from this spot-on sculpture.
