Rato Kim's "Box Cat (MelonCat Edition)" is coming VERY soon…

Following up her first "Summer Special Limited Edition," the second installment — the pictured "MelonCat" is every bit as delicious looking. Created by South Korean artist Rato Kim using her "Boxcat" design, these 4-inch wide, 4½-inch tall, and 5-inch deep completely handmade resin pieces have been given a makeover to resemble melons. Maintaining the recognizable ears, tail, and even butthole of a cat, I'm particularly fond of how — once again — the eyes are perfectly placed seeds! While no set release date has been announced, we suspect it will be on Saturday, August 13th, 2016 (based on her past release tendencies). Make sure you follow her on Facebook, as that is most likely where she'll announce the release. And we've noticed that up next, it appears, is a fantastic "WoodCat" edition… This is one artist to watch, folks!
