Amanda Visell & Michelle Valigura's Skateboarding "Bat 'n' Board" Sets!

After debuting in 2014, we've been waiting for Amanda Visell's "Bat 'n' Board" resin figure to return. Depicting an adorable, original bat character and the skateboard he stands proudly upon, this two piece set's simplicity masks some brilliant choices, especially the way the eyes are angled to really imbue some sense of life to this work. Available again in two versions, these can be found in the myswitcheroo online shop owned by Visell & her partner, Michelle Valigura.
The above-pictured "Albino Bat 'n' Board" is cast in resin from a mold of the original sculpt, then hand-painted with acrylics by Visell herself. Measuring roughly 3½ × 3½ × 2 in., this colorway is limited to 25 sets for $90 apiece. And the below-pictured "Hairy Rat Sparkle Bat 'n' Board," which is similar to the other version in all ways except certain areas are left unpainted, allowing the sparkle-infused resin used to cast it to shine through. Limited to 15 sets in this version, these are also available in the myswitcheroo online shop right now for $90 per set.
