Waiting, Shmating… Kozyndan × Munky King's "Uprisings" has Returned!

A play on Hokusai's "Great Wave off Kanagawa" woodblock print, "Uprisings" was originally created as an illustrated cover design by Kozyndan for Giant Robot Magazine #28 in 2003. Almost immediately becoming a so-called "calling card" piece for the duo, Munky King transformed it into a three-dimensional sculpture that was released in several forms from 2009 to 2012… Depicting a wave capped by a horde of fluffy bunnies, this 9½-inch tall vinyl form can be displayed as a stand-alone sculpture or used as a bookend. As we previously teased, it has been reissued in the pictured "Deep Blue" version, depicting dark blue metallic water cresting into pearlescent white rabbits.
While this was supposed to return at this year's San Diego Comic-Con (Munky King's SDCC Booth #4851 to be exact), they just couldn't hold it out on us any longer… Available right now online, there is no word on the edition size but the price point is only $75 apiece! They will still have an allotment at the convention, but now those unable to attend can ensure their copy right away!
