During our honeymoon in Japan, my patient wife Pam let us explore Harajuku not once but twice, as this neighborhood featured the greatest accumulation of shops that "called" to me: Bounty Hunter, Rockin' Jelly Bean's Erostika, Three Tides Tattoo, Atmos, and… Secret Base. It was in this last one, a small shared space that it was, that I discovered some fantastic, horror-themed, DIY craft project wind chimes. These immediately spoke to both me and my wife, so we bought a pair — an obake (ghost) themed one and another that's skeleton based. Featuring Japanese porcelain bell heads with striker balls inside, the do-it-yourself assembly of the articulated paper bodies is just too much fun… and the finished pieces are artfully designed. So take a trip down nostalgia lane as we break out the scissors and make this duo of wind chimes in our latest video review!
