REVEALED: Bill McMullen × Munky King's "Mad World" Figure!

"When people run in circles it's a very, very… Mad world, mad world!" There's a reason the 1982 song by the British band Tears for Fears has remained such a well-known part of our culture: it just touches on a truth about how things are. And I can't help thinking about that song as I see Bill McMullen's newest art toy creation, the above-pictured "Mad World" which debuted at producer Munky King's San Diego Comic-Con booth! Sculpted by Colus, it has a simple and cartoonish feel to the anthropomorphized planet but it is the protest sign that gives it real personality. Plus, of course, the phrase on the sign is theoretically interchangeable, giving this piece a lot of wonderful options!
