Kidrobot have announced that the President of the company, Bob Africa, has made the decision to move onto new opportunities. While this may be a shock to some, especially since KR has yet to be a solid entity in peoples minds since the switch up last year, I can personally tell you all... there is nothing to worry about and that KR will continue to run great, as it has over the past year. Onward and upward to Bob, and congrats on the new opportunities.
"This month, the President of Kidrobot, Bob Africa, has made the decision to move on to new opportunities.
Having guided the company through some challenging times, Bob feels like the company is in a great place and poised to continue its leadership in the world of pop culture art. Kidrobot wishes to sincerely thank Bob for his tireless leadership in the face of adversity, and is excited for what the future will bring. Under Bob’s direction, Kidrobot, the premiere manufacturer of designer vinyl art, is experiencing its best year ever. Successes such as the collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation, the strength of licensees such as Crayola and The Simpsons, as well as Kidrobot’s always-popular “Dunny” platform, cement a record-breaking run.
Kidrobot’s future is indeed bright. Under the continued leadership of Chief Creative Officer, Frank Kozik and VP of Product & Marketing, Allen Richardson, Kidrobot fully expects to further its upward trajectory and strengthen its position as the leader in “Art, Design and Pop Culture”."
