Texas-based artist
RxSeven, also known as SE7EN, has turned his skull-faced custom creation process towards
Peter Kato's 6-inch tall vinyl "Bedtime Bunnies" figure, creating the above "Galactic Sleep Walker" for tonight's
Le Rêve du Lapin exhibition at the Beacon, NY-based
Clutter Gallery. Sculpted face, texture ears, head held aloft by an acrylic rod, all finished with an immaculate paint application that eludes to a starry theme. A wonderful composite of RxSeven's major artistic elements, those unable to attend the opening will have to hope — at this point — that it remains unsold and is still available in the
gallery's website after the opening.
Le Rêve du Lapin (French: The Dream of the Rabbit), a group exhibition using solely Peter Kato's vinyl Bedtime Bunnies as a base, will open on Saturday, June 11th with a reception from 6-9pm local time and be on display until July 1st, 2016 at
The Clutter Gallery, 163 Main St., Beacon, NY 12508.
