The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up for Civil War, but so are Designer Toys!

As Marvel Cinematic Universe fans surely know already, this upcoming weekend is bringing Civil War — in the form of the third Captain America film — to the big screen! Artist Frank Montano decided, in honor of this upcoming movie moment, to bring a similar event to his F.E.A.S.T. universe, ushered in with the release of “CivilWar DiamondTrooper Series 1” on May 6th, 2016. Featuring 3-inch tall Dunny/Munny-esque figures transformed into likenesses of Marvel Comics characters, this release will feature “AmericanTrooper” (Capt. America), “IronTrooper” (Iron Man), and “SpideyTrooper” (Spider-Man), all of which one can see detailed work-in-progress pieces of below, as well as a rendition of Black Panther. These resin cast figures are completely hand-painted by the artist and will be limited to 15 pieces in each design, which will be priced at $85 apiece in Montano's online shop when made available on this upcoming Friday.
