Splurrt's "Shinjuku Demon" based on Demon City Shinjuku's Spider Demon!

Splurrt's Joe Merrill fondly recalls 1988 film adaptation of Demon City Shinjuku, citing it as being "one of my first experiences seeing such mature animation." While the movie overall stuck with him, one character in particular remained prominent in Merrill's mind: the Spider Demon, the most physically imposing of the three major demons summoned in the anime. Inspired by the appearance of this demonic creature, Merrill has created his newest sculpt, the picture "Shinjuku Demon." Standing roughly 4-inches tall, these stunning monstrosities "should be [availble] in vinyl by late summer."
