I'm a huge fan of
InstincToy's fantastically rendered and absolutely creative output, but their "Muckey" creation remains my first love of theirs. Originally debuted in 2013, this year's third anniversary of the design has witnessed two new versions for expos: "Blue Yeti" and "Pinky," both of which are finally making their way into international buyer's arms courtesy of a lottery!
The 11th color of "Muckey," "Blue Yeti," is inspired by the very first version of the design released but this new rendition uses a brighter, deeper blue color with gradated painting to really make the fur bristles pop. The vinyl also glows-in-the-dark and the piece comes with a handmade winter scarf!
For the 12th version, "Pinky," the lovely pink coloration glows-in-the-dark, matching the bright blue illumination of the "Blue Yeti" version. And this is the first time that the open mouth tooth variation is a part in the full-size "Muckey" series, letting you choose which design your piece is displayed with.
But the "Pinky" version is one of the most limited "Muckey" releases to date, with only 60 total pieces produced and half that number already sold from conventions. As these look so fantastic together, those interested in "Pinky" must not only
enter the lottery for that figure but
also enter (and win) the drawing for a "Blue Yeti!" Each piece costs ¥10800 (approx. $99).
