The Cleveland, Ohio-based wife-and-husband team Jordan Elise Perme and Christopher Lees, better known as
Horrible Adorables, brings their adorable faux taxidermy creatures to
Kidrobot, and we're not just talking about the
previously announced vinyl form. Yes, it is their unique brand of fiber sculpture, made by sculpting styrofoam and pain-stakingly layering wool felt scales across it. Finished with real glass taxidermy eyes to bring the creature to life, both the “Haremus” and “Sweasel” designs have been produced in extremely small quantities exclusively for Kidrobot. Each mounted on a wooden plaque with sawtooth hanger, both beasts are available in two sizes: Medium (5 × 7 in. plaque) for $150 apiece and Mini (3½ × 5¼ in. plaque) for $60 apiece. These are available right now in the
Kidrobot store, and while exact quantities made is unannounced, the numbers are most likely extremely small.
