FLABSLAB’s tribute to Darth Vader & Lee Kuan Yew: “Dark Papa!”

Last year we teased a release from FLABSLAB that depicted Lee Kuan Yew, the recognised founding father of Singapore, attired in Darth Vader’s garb. Titled “Dark Papa,” this 11-inch tall and 7-inch wide resin sculpture is an exploration of how "everyone of us has a love-hate relationship with our own father," a reminder that "behind the smiling face is a past so dark that we may never fathom." Limited to 23 handmade pieces, each of these $400 works will be available tomorrow — May the 4th, 2016 — n the FLABSLAB online shop.
