Captain Zeto's skull-headed ship's captain is ready to set sail… for your home!

The Arizona-based sculptor duo of Edgar Hernandez & Sandra Mendez, known together as Captain Zeto, caught our attention when they transitioned Nicky Davis's "Dead Bear" into 3D, but they released their own figure — "The Captain" — in a very limited bronze edition almost a month ago. Revisiting this fantastic design, it has now being released in a very limited edition, plain white plastic version. Standing roughly 4-inches tall, this beautifully stylized, skull-headed boat captain has an immediately iconic feel to him, the aesthetic of the work being memorable and impressive. Limited to an edition of 99 pieces, we are warned that these will "have slightly lines texture and imperfections," which makes us think they are either 3D printed or cast in resin off of a 3D print master that wasn't properly sanded… Available now in the Captain Zeto online shop, you can buy one of these impressive looking figures for only $59.99 apiece.
