The Sequel to “Permanent Guest”: Coarse Toys’s “Do Not Disturb” vinyl sculpture!

The artist duo of Mark Landwehr & Sven Waschk, better known as Coarse, continue the saga begun with their “Permanent Guest” vinyl sculpture with the “Do Not Disturb” designer toy follow-up. Yes, the previously teased piece finds the mischievous Fish, having abandoned his bathtub, has met a gruesome end at the paws of the menacing Cat. Measuring 11 × 12 × 8 inches, this set includes both the Cat and half-eaten Fish vinyl figures, meant to be displayed with the predator looming over his prey in a moment of regret, contemplating the morality of his actions and whether he should complete the consumption of his catch. Available in two initial versions, the light-colored “Promised Bliss” in white and silver colors and the sinister “Endless Shadows” in shades of black, gold, and gray, both editions are limited to 345 pieces and will be exclusively availabe on April 1st, 2016 at 8:59am Pacific time from Coarse’s online store for HK$1540 (approx. $199) apiece. We expect that Delusion and Ignited editions, to match the other “Permanent Guest” versions, will also be released. And, we're told, we'll learn the fate of Raccoon from that set later this Summer!
