You probably recognize Ganesha, the best-known and most worshipped deity in the Hindu pantheon, who is immediately identifiable by his elephant head and four arms. What not everyone realizes is that he is the patron god of arts and sciences, which makes the pictured “Low Poly Ganesha” sculpture the perfect aspect for him — the profile of the divine rendered artfully in a polygon mesh. Ganesha is also revered as the god of beginnings, making this debut collaboration between Thailand's
Demonstate and
Kaiju Smuggler in the Hindu pantheon, who is immediately identifiable by his elephant head and four arms. What not everyone realizes is that he is the patron god of arts and sciences, which makes the pictured “Low Poly Ganesha” sculpture the perfect aspect for him — the profile of the divine rendered artfully in a polygon mesh. Ganesha is also revered as the god of beginnings, making this debut collaboration between Thailand's Demonstate and Kaiju Smuggler all the more appropriate. While the original master for this was definitely 3D printed, it is unclear if each piece in this limited edition run is a finished 3D print or a resin cast from that initial output. Standing 9¼-inches tall, “Low Poly Ganesha” will be available today (March 9th, 2016) at 11am Pacific time to preorder directly from Kaiju Smuggler, who can be contacted through
their Facebook page.
