J★RYU’s Jiangshi, the Chinese hopping “Pokket Vampire,” available now!

Wow, talk about turning the whole concept of an artist series on its head! J★RYU’s previously announced “Pokket Vampire” figure is finally available to everyone… in the form of the “The Infernal Feast Series 1!” And what makes this release special is that every piece in it is one-of-a-kind! The basic resin “Pokket Vampire” might be the same across the board here, but every one is hand-painted with sculpted food-based crown adornments… and each type of food is only created once! Standing between 4- & 5-inches tall, these renditions of jiangshi, or Chinese 'hopping' vampires, really impress in their quality and creativity, though the paint looks like it is rather hurriedly applied… but when each piece of art costs a mere $85 apiece, one can't really complain.  UPDATE:  J★RYU tells us, in regards to the paint, that it has "been refined since those photos were taken back in October."
